At Rhapsody, we believe that if you enjoy live entertainment, be it Shakespeare, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stacey Kent or the Arctic Monkeys, there is opera out there for you.

We are here to bring opera to everyone, be they young or old, classically minded or stuck in the '80s. Whether it's in an intimate theatre space, in schools, at work, at a wedding, in a restaurant or a shopping centre, we are here to entertain.

The appreciation of opera is constantly changing. Its performers, perception and audience have needed to adapt to the demands and opportunities of the 21st century.

More and more people who have never experienced or really thought of experiencing this "art form" have been exposed to it- and really enjoyed it!

The audience for opera is growing faster (more than 25% in recent years*) than any other arts medium except film**.

And yet, in theatrical terms at least, it is still regarded as elitist, difficult to understand, appreciate and relate to.

Rhapsody is here to change this, bringing opera to life in all its magnificence in every walk of life.
